Default Electric waterpump?

Is this worth the money and is there any drawbacks from it. HP,belt problems ,etc.

well with the Meizere one that is out now u cant use a Tstat... and u have to have fittings drilled into it at Meizere or someone that knows what they are doing to use the heater... as far as belts go if u still have Power Steering u have a better chance of finding the proper belt but might have problems getting the tension good... it took me 3 different length belts and a custom alt setup to get a ~29in belt to fit. Average HP gain is approx 15 rwhp from what I have been told.

This sure sounds like a PITA. Why can't we have it as easy as the LT-1 guys?
