LS1Joe New Dyno Numbers

Cam Only. Custom LS1 Joe Camshaft, Kooks 1 7/8 Headers, Moser 9" with 4.71 Gears, Slicks, Rev Valve Springs, Nick Williams Throttle Body and Fast Intake. Of course a custom T56Rebuilds Transmission.
We installed the vacuum pump and could not get on the original dyno at RSI as they were busy. Before the vacuum pump there the car made 463rwhp and when we went to Mikes it was 458 so they are about 5hp off. We think based on the numbers if we went to RSI it should make 473rwhp based on Mikes dyno and knowing it is about 5hp down. That is an 11hp gain with the vacuum pump. It was a custom Vacuum Pump Setup that we designed in house using a custom bracket.
Now lets throw some heads on it and see what it does.

nice numbers! congrats to you 2, and thank you for all your help while ive been putting my tranny back togetehr part by part heeh. my dad is check the last of the clearances right now and might come by again today for couple more shims. hes been very impressed by the setup you guys ahve there at the shop =)

Amber is the coolest girl on the planet. She helped me out one day I needed some shifter bolts (apparently I was a little rough). I was stranded on W. Little York and she didn't hesitate to help.
I've been meaning to pass by and give you some more brownies but I have since changed jobs and don't go down W. Little York anymore.

We looked at that ***** pump but it was kind of small so we decided to go with the King Kong ***** Pump. Much larger and gets the job done quicker.
This vacuum pump project has been on going for a while gathering the right parts and fittings. Just glad it is done.

I wish. The heads have never been off of the car and the oil pan has never been off. Here soon when our new project is done we will pull the cam only engine apart and see what everything looks like

You should sell your cam-only engine to Dragaholic so he can race again. I want to see his car back at the track! He is too busy modding his truck!

Yeah we thought about that but it takes all of the fun out of it. The next person just bolts it in and has the LS1Joe special
. I am more interested in what it looks like.

hydraulic roller cam? i'm also very interetsted in the specs as i just got my new forged 347 back, ready to go at 12.5:1 with an LS6 head. pm me if you wish, thanks, great numbers.
