Anyone have any pointers to install a lexan windshield? I just got a Pro Glass windshield and it is oversized to trim as needed. I found out that you can install it like a normal windshiel or use sheet metal screws with weather stripping (for hieght adjustment). I plan on doing the countersunk screw method, but how do I go about trimming the lexan? What is used, just a cutoff wheel? Also how far apart do the screws go around the perimeter? Better yet, is there an article online somewhere? Thanks for any help.

Use a jigsaw with a 18 tpi blade. Trim till you are 3/16 from fitting. Then sand with a grinder with 80 grit till it fits. Final sanding to clean and straighten the edges use 200 grit sand paper on a 1" X 2" wood block.

As for screws I use 8 x 32 countersunk SS screws. I drill and tap all the holes.
