Don't waste your money on a MAF. Just descreen it and put the $300 you saved towards something else. You can get a nitrous kit for around $500.

You will gain a few rhwp. My car was running extremely rich. Removing the MAF screen helped to lean it out. I picked up a nice amount of tq and hp. It's a proven mod and it takes about 5 mins to do it.

Shop around you should be able to find a new SLP 85mm MAF for about $150 or maybe a little less. Used it should be even cheaper. When my car was a bolt on car, the SLP MAF was good for 6rwhp on the dyno. I still have it on the car.

Default MAF

Stupid Question....
I have a 2000 SS Camaro. Some of the add on are:
The SLP high performance exhaust, Auburn differential, bilstein suspension. These are extras that were on the car when I purchased it new. Other add on are: SLP air box lid, k&N filter, smooth bellows, 160' thermostat, Hypertech Power tuning (PPIII).
I was thinking about replacing the MAF. Would this make much of a difference for the price? Also I don't think I like SLP's MAF, what about the Granetelli or the 85mm ZO6 conversion?
Also another stupid question. I have had the car for 2 years and am just getting into the mod thing lately. On the dealer option sheet with the slp add ons it said HIgh performance exhaust. The price waslike 699.oo... Does anyone have any ides as to what kind of exhaust this is, and if it's any good. If not I guess I can just call SLP..
Thanks for any help you can offer...
