Has anyone actually used this box yet or is it still too new??? I know that it can read 2 and 3 bar map sensors and has a two step built in...I just wanted some real world test and tuning....

I had to tune a car with an MSD box on it...
spark was very inconsistent...

they do make some great replacement coils now for ls1's...

its just teh boxes that control spark just kind of suck in my opinion

You have to get the other harness with the 6LS Box. it is like PN-6110 or something like that. around 400$. Haven't seen any results, but I have been trying to to people into getting them at the shop.

I was thinking of using one just for the two-step function, but I also want to see results first.

The box is p\n 6010...The harness is p\n 8886...I have the box already but the harness is just now being released...I just don't understand how people are saying that they suck or whatever when they can't even get the harness...I'll keep everyone that is interested updated...

I'm curious why you dont use the stock pcm to do teh spark thing...
MSD does make some replacement coil packs for ls1's(and they are better than the stock coil packs)

is the box just becasue of teh 2 step?

cause if it is..you might have better luck getting a harlan 2 step...

and now HPT has 2 bar for 98's
if you need 3 bar you can use the 2 bar..its easy to set up and the 2 bar and 3 bar use the same size ve table...

I'm probably going to go that route anyways...I honestly just wanted to test it out and see how it works... I mean if it works then fine but if it doesn't then there comes HPT...Either way I'm covered...

I am now running the 6LS and so far all is good. The box has timing curves and you can set a min and max timing advance, it also has a 2 step and a timing retard for us nitrous guys. I also have line locks on my car and have setup a relay so that I can flip on one switch and use the line locks for a burn out then pull up to the line flip the other switch and set the 2 step with line locks. The ground is being controlled by a button on my shifter ****. This is all theory right now but this wednesday I will put it in action to see how well it works.
