Default Reverse Split Cam Results (TR227)

Sorry for the camera phone picture.

Mods:
LS6 Intake
SLP Underdrive Pulley
SLP Lid
K&N
Mac Midlengths W/ory
Cut-out open
SLP Factory Dual/Dual
ghetto home ported TB

Thats it as far a power adding mods go, but i also have moly pushrods, ported LS6 oil pump, LS2 timing chain, and a short stick on the factory hurst shifter. Overall I'm satisfied for it being untuned. I would like to see close to 400rwhp with a tune and a good clutch.

This cam makes great power under the curve, but really shine around 4000rpm. Being i have a stock clutch with a bad slave cylinder i cant really utilize any power WOT. I have a Ram powergrip HD and all new hydrolics, but im waiting untill i get some money for a flywheel.

BTW i have put almost 6,000 miles on his thing in since the end of march, and still on the stock clutch. Also i average 18-26mpg city and highway driving. It just depends i much i can keep my foot out of it.

oh, and stock tune = stock limiter....i NEED a tune

From 4000 RPM and up, you need some adjustments in your tune.

I made 399 with my TR230 and MAC mid headers, so much for those trying to convince me MACs aren't worth anything! nice numbers!

Looks good, but get it tuned!
Get the AFR to 13 to 1, play with the timing and move the rev. limiter up to 6,800rpm.
Great cam, my brother Slacker has the same cam and runs 11.58@117 in a 1998 A4.
