oil pressure rises with rpms
So I just got my tsp rumbler with a loud mouth resonator installed today and I noticed that when I would rev the engine or accelerate quickly, the oil pressure gauge would go up with the rpm's. I have never noticed this before, what could be causing this?

your oil pressure is supposed to build with rpms. the oil pump is attached to the cam shaft so the higher it spins the higher the pressure should get. by the way anything above 6 psi hot idle is ok.

sorry to hijack i just have one quick question about this. i have noticed in the past 2 months or so (since it has warmed up) that when i come to a stop my oil gauge sometimes bounces between 20-30 psi but then we i start to drive again it goes up to the 40 psi range and basically stays there until i come to a stop again. From what i have read i guess it isn't bad, but is that normal or safe? Thanks

I think thats a little high, what viscosity oil are you using? More than likely, you may be using oil that is a little too thick for the weather. Try a little thinner next time. Or, quite unlikely, as a worst case scenario you have a blocked oil passage.
