Default Dyno wrong?!!!!

got dyno'd today and I'm pretty sure the numbers are way off. I' running a hotcam kit setup with coated longtubes no cats. K&N intake, all the usual mods. Anyway I dyno's today at 385RWHP. My torque number was even farther off. 473.30. What the hell anybody know what coulda went wrong?

sounds like possibly a torque spike, wrong input data, or dyno operator error

I guess I'll have to wait till monday and I'll call a different dyno shop to see if they can make sense of it. Will probably have to write it up as a loss of money and take it to a different shop

I nearly did. I will have the graph up in an hour or so. Where is the tourqe measured? rear wheels or through the device on the spark plug. I think its the spark plug cuz I know thats how its done on a bike anyway.

Ask around and see if anyone else in your town has had the same experience on that dyno.

I know of a dyno in my town that produces similarly high numbers so a lot of newbies go there instead of a more accurate dyno.

Rear wheels, horse power is a product of torque. They spark get your RPM from the spark plug lead.

Thanks for stating the obvious. Look at the graph. the HP peaks after the rpms drop off
