Default Throttle response?

I have a 2000 Trans Am WS6 - A4 and would like to know if there is any way to make the gas pedal more touchy. Meaning that way i press the gas the car responds quicker instead of taking a second for the revs to climb.

There are alot of things you can do.

Throttle Body is easy.
Lightweight Flywheel.

those are really the only external things.....

Now internally,

Cam seclection, compression ratio, crank weight will all help that also, combine all of these together and it's one crazy MF'er!

There are plenty of mods that will increase SOTP (seat of the pants) throttle response. List the mods you've done so far (if any) so we can help with suggestions.

Well I bought the car used w/ 38,000 miles so im not too sure whats been done. It does however, have a flowmaster exhaust (80 series). I also changed the oil not to long ago to mobile 1 trisynthetic and used a K & N oil filter. Im looking in to buying a granatelli maf pretty soon as well as possibly mac headers.

I recently test drove a 02 Z28 and compared to my 99 the gas pedal felt really mushy. This car was stock and all I have done to mine is flowmaster muffler, SLP lid, ported throttle body, and the free mods being tb bypass, !EGR, and FRA. Both cars have 2.73 gears. Honestly, the mod I felt the most was the ported TB and the TB bypass(did those at the same time) I would say get a lid and TB and do the free mods and I think it will feel a little better to you.
