16.4hp is not 800 bucks to me. Iam sure they tuned it. Who's car is that?

I have hooker headers with their ORY-pipe and I can safely say I gained about twice that much. My ET's dropped over 3 tenths and I gained 3mph. That much of an improvement can't happen with only 15hp

They might have slapped the headers on and immediately dyno'ed it. I know my car ran extremely rich right after the install, so much so that I was worried and had a friend autotap it. It was running really rich, but it leaned out a bit after the first 100 miles or so. Every car is differnt too though so who knows

man, that is a really vague write-up.
but i don't think they tuned the car because if they tuned it, they would have deleted the AIR pump stuff. instead, they reinstalled the AIR equipment even though they aren't using cats. they even said the air pump is to help the converters, but they aren't even using converters. dumb.

On my 2002 I went from a best of 12.92 @ 109 but average of 13.0's at 108 or so to consistant 12.6's and 12.5 at high 113's to low 114's with the ONLY addition being the jet hot hooker long tubes with an offroad Y pipe. I used Auto Tap and a MAFT to tune it with. I ended up having to set the MAFT to 8% lean at WOT. In MY opinion it is one of the best mods for the money, where else can you get .4 and 5 mph for the same cash? A cam swap is more expensive if you don't do the labor yourself and the headers don't affect the drivability of the car at all. Just my REAL WORLD ( ie.. not magazine ) observations.
