Default Whats best way to strip paint off (2000 TA)

My TA was repainted on the front fenders and hood after they were replaced in an accident . The guy that did it did a crap *** job of sanding prior to paint , now the paint is coming off . I'm wondering what te best way is to take that crap paint off. I have used Aircraft paint stipper before but i know it is wicked strong(would melt the paint off but dont want to melt plastic) .Is it ok to use or is there a better option .I would rather not spend any more time at it than I have to . thanx 2000 TA

if your going to strip it, do this...

get some 400 grit paper. wet sand till the clear coat is off and its just a really dull color. then move up to 600 or 650. then move up to 800. u dont need to go over it like crazy. basically what your doing is scuffing the paint up real good so that the new paint will adhere well. wet sanding the whole time helps A LOT.

not sure if this is what ur looking for but good luck!

I think he means instaed of stripping, sand it
FWIW that aircraft stripper is some nasty stuff, I would be worried about it messing up the plastic fender, it will tear the hell out of fiberglass (that's why you take off the plastic/fiberglass stuff when stripping an airplane for paint) so I would suspect it'll do the same to the fender material
