Default 3.73 to 4.11

im traping now at 6k @ 120 with 3.73s need to be at 6500 how many mph will i pick up with 4.11s

I think you're gonna MPH about the same, maybe 2-3 higher.

If you want to be at 6500, then add more power. Dont change gears just to turn 500 more RPM. Because when you do add power later (everyone always does!) you might run out of gear.

how many tenths will a low 11 second car pickup from the chnage

I changed from 3.55's to 3.91's on my 440 Mopar back in the day and I ran the exact same ET and MPH! It did go thru the traps at higher RPM, but the lower gears gave it more traction issues out of the hole.

I would not count on more than 1/10.

maybe gain something, maybe not, only way to know is to try. 3.90's are always an option too... if the jump to 4.10 is too much.
