Default Newb wheel question ...

Everything I read about drag wheels seems to say that they aren't a wise choice for a daily driver. I'm looking for a new set of wheels for my 2000 SS, and I want the drag wheel "look", like Prostars, but it this car is going to be daily driven, and maybe see the track once or twice a year.

What's the real deal?

Sprung monkey,

That's exactly what I'm thinking of doing, I'm just worried about the wheel integrity. It seems drag wheels arent' made for potholes and other road hazards.
