WTB: Ls1 or Lt1 modded Vert
Looking for something with mild mods such as;
Aftermarket wheels, suspension mods, intake/exhaust, and possibly more.
A lowered vert with a nice drop and wheels would be ideal.
I am willing to travel if the price is right, even fly to your location and drive it home.
Looking for something with less than 80k BUT again if the price is right and the car is in good shape we may work something out.
Looking for a Z28, SS, or WS6 only. No regular T/as or formulas.

Been considering selling wife's 95 Z28 convertible....Red, with graphite leather, auto, all options including performance axle pkg. Just turned 52k. Under warranty until 7/12/06..zero deduct. Looking to get 10,700 for it. Have not decided as yet to sell....looking at getting get her something newer.
Oh...and complete brake job and 4 new tires (Toyo Proxes 4's, 245/50/16's) put on car ...200 miles ago. Just had intake manifold leak fixed and engine flushed under warranty...also faulty ignition module replaced.

I am looking at trading my 2001 Z28 conv on a 2006 GTO as my 2004 GTO lease is up in November. The dealer offered me 15k real $$$. After the 7% tax credit that means I will sell for 16,100. The car is nice and it is a great driver. It is just too flashy for me to use for work (sales) and I have too many other toys. Here is a link to my post:

Maybe the price of verts just isnt near the same ballpark as mint SS t-top cars.
I sold a stunning mint 2000 SS M6 with around 70k on it completely mint, tasteful mods, all SLP options, built tranny, etc for $15,500 and it took nearly 4 months to sell.
Then I sold my pristine, unmolested 2001 SS M6 with 35k on it for $16,000 after 2 months of having it posted EVERYWHERE.
I've had my share of f-body's and those 2 were in the last year so I know the market. Apparently I am under-estimating the vert market b/c so far the prices I have been offered are just too steep in my honest opinion.
I was thinking in the <$12k area but that has yet to be found. But then again I have yet to see the people asking more than $14 sell theirs. But, I notice that both of your offerings are in fact low mileage so the prices may be where they should be.
Thank you very much for the offers fellas, but I'll have to pass. I'm in no rush to get into another one, and if the market really is upward of $17k, I'll just move myself into a C5 coupe or spend a little more for a FRC or ZO6.

This is the worst time to buy a 'vert. After the 4th of July, the market softens considerably. I've been lookng since the 1st of the year for the right car, and just can't seem to find what I want. I bought my '99 Z/28 in February of '03 for 13.5 with 28,000 miles. I wished I'd kept it, but what's gone is gone. Keep looking, the right 'vert is out there somewhere. If you run across a low mileage A4 with leather that's not white, red or black, let me know!
