Default Spark Plugs?

Getting ready to do a plug change...I was thinking TR-55's but I hear they don't last but a few months. Is this true?

I run TR-55's with no problems.

I've never heard of them lasting only a few months. There could of been something else contributing to that short lifespan.

I can get them from a local speed shop...CPR performance in Columbia, SC. I'm sure you can find NGK TR-55's in stock at most auto parts stores...Advanced, AutoZone, or O'Riley's.

I do not liike TR55s at all my car dosent run or idle nearly as good with them and they foul easy. My car ran alot better on ac delco iridiums but for $13.00 for the tr55s VS. $50.00 for the iridiums Ive been having to run the NGKs latley and I actually think they hurt my track time a little lol

I have been running ngk plugs since I got the car, first thing I changed, never had any idle issues, or problems, sounds like you have a bad plug, or they are gapped wrong.
