What DCR for 6# Supercharged?
I'm looking at having 6-8 pounds out of a Procharger on my GTO. I'm trying to select a cam (probably pistons and heads too) that would best fit this application, and I'm wondering what DCR I should aim for. I've seen 8.5 all over as optimal, but that seemed to be for N/A applications, and I'm not seeing much info for blower cars.
As your PSI goes up, should you worry more and more about DCR?
I would like to stay at a conservative 6-8 pounds, and would like to stick with 93 octane.

I'm not sure why you are using DCR as the measure of what cam you should get. Sounds needlessly complicated. What static CR ar you running?
Are you up for a solid roller cam?

Well, I'm trying to figure out if I need to lower my static.
A cam I was looking at with stock heads and pistons put me at a 7.9 DCR.
I can get 6.0L heads, and bring the SCR to 9.4, and the DCR would be 7.4.
Add 8.6 cc pistons with a 6.125 rod to the 6.0L heads and I am at 8.7 SCR with a 6.8 DCR.

My static should be 10.1:1. I'm going to be going with a Procharger, and that does have and intercooler.
I've been playing with a calculator and just watching the numbers change. I'm not even sure what numbers in the valve events I should be looking at that will be good for a supercharger.

Any problem with going to a solid roller cam? I'm running a Vortech-blown 383, max 7.5# boost (blower maxed out - need bigger) with a small solid roller - 230/236, 112lsa, net lift .575/.584. It's great everywhere! It is 2 of their Xtreme Street Roller lobes.
With your 6-speed, I'd step up to a 236/242, 114lsa. Comp Cams will grind for you from their lobe catalog. With a 1.6 rocker you should net .584/~.595. That thing will idle well and rev like a sonofabitch.
