Default 42# injector install question

I just got my 7# pulley and ford svo 42# injectors. Everything is install and it feels as if I have a vacum leak. Was I supossed to do something to injectors before I installed them? ie: Oil O rings, switch O rings to stock ones? Any help would be nice!

I don't think oiling the o rings would make a difference. I myself wouldn't use the old o rings. you dont want to stretch them out or crack them while removing. I dont think the Injectors are causing the leak. Did you check to make sure that nothing was in the way of the back of the intake if you took it off.

You must have lots of mods to need 42 pound injectors.

I put the stock injectors back in to insure it was the o ring from the 42# injectors. I was right; I was under the impression that tuning is great but not to get the car to actually hold idel. Its a vacum leak and I'll fix it some how!

You very well may have a vacume leak but...

Without tuning those injectors are dumping a TON of extra fuel into the cylinders. I wouldn't doubt it won't idle either. Your Ltrims should be locked at -25%.
