Question Widening my wheels.. help choosing spacer size.

Ive decided Im going to have my 35th Anniversary stock 10 spoke wheels widened to 11". These are the exact same dimensions as any other 10 spoke SS wheel.

With that said, and having them widened to 11" to fit 315s, what size spacer should I get for these things? I dont mind getting longer studs if need be.. thats not a big concern. I also dont mind it if I have to massage (BFH) the wells a little if need be... I also heard something about having to remove some of the bumpstop.

I can honestly say that I know my car like the back of my hand except when it comes to wheel offsets Im confused... even after looking at some of the sticky threads above.

FWIW my car is lowered with a Sportline kit.. and if I have to Ill switch to a Pro Kit or something else to make this happen. Ive also heard that LCAs and a APHR is needed for this.. my car already has both.

Any help will be appreciated. THANKS in advance.

If they are the same as a WS6 wheel, you'll need a minimum of 1" spacer. With 1" you'll have to cut off the bump stops and do a tiny bit of massaging. If you widen the rim 2", then 1" out and 1" in, is what I did. I just took some measurements from the stock wheel to the inside of the fended, to see how much room I had to play with.

Thats what I was thinking.. 1" in 1" out for 2" wider. Thanks man.. Ill go with a 1" spacer then.

How much did those spacers set you back?

Those spacers were custom made, because I wanted hub centering. The only hub centering ones I could find were the H&R ones, which were back ordered from Germany and unavailable.

The ones in the pic that I had made were $100.00 CAD each.
