Sounds like you need the Torquer v.2!! That cam on a 112 will give you the aggressive idle your looking for and the sub .600 lift will give you a ton of mileage with some dual springs. The cam makes great power without having to spin so high. If you need any pricing or more info on that cam or any other for that matter just shoot me a pm!!

On stock compression the TRQR V2 is a dog at lower rpm (not to mention a gas guzzler). DD 30 miles a day I would pick something in the 224 range
like 224/228, .581/.588 112+1 LSA/ICL (XER)
You can call Zach he can grind this one for the same price as an offshelf cam.
With that cam you'll have better trq and power below the curve which is where it matters for DD cars.

I agree, way too many people overcam these stock cubed DD's

The TSP torquer is a great cam..I have been running one for a year and have 25,000 miles on it and the TSP dual springs...if you are going to the track a lot it is a great cam..but for a daily driver your are going to need to go to 4.10 gears or it will be a pain in that *** drivability wise... the above recommendation of the 224\228 581\588 112 cam will be much more of a street friendly cam..It will make a lot more torque and HP under the curve where you live which is where you really need it with a street car plus it will have a nice lope to it at idle.. you might lose 10 HP-12 HP up at the very top but you will have so much more down under the curve..
