Re: Merge collectors? The Hooker merge collectors I saw there ranged from like $140 to $170 and those were slip ons:

I'm thinking the collectors you found were just ho-hum collectors. A true merge collector is more expensive due to the more complex work required to build it. Imagine if you wanted one in a flavor of stainless.
Worth it? Only if you're building an all out set of headers and don't like leaving power on the table.
