Default Gas mixture and spark advance

I have been filling up my WS6 with 92-93 octane 90/10 Gas/Ethanol mixture since I bought it 4 years ago. Now with the 408 I have been tuning my advance and I have found that at 19-20 degrees of timing i get at most 1 degree of KR for anything over 4000 RPMS. If I went up in timing at this area I would achieve a linear increase in KR. My neighbor mentioned trying 92 pure premium(no ethanol) that they have at a pump near by so I did. I still see at most 1 degree of KR but my power is WAY down. It will barely(compared to other gas) pull anymore. I feel like I am back to my stock 346 with MS3.

Do I need to start increasing my spark in this area? I am just worried that the KR is going to go back up again as I increase the spark.

Can anyone explain why I would feel this large drop in power?
