do you think a stock bottom end ls1 can hold about 630-650rwhp, with 10 degree of timing and high 10 A/Fs?

from what ive seen, 650 is pushing the limits of the OEM pistons
you will prob be driving a timebomb
but with a good tune who knows

It definatly is all in teh tune. I have my timing at 18-20* above 3k rpm and between 11.0-11.6 AFR in that area makin over 600 for a while and no issues at all. Blew a headgasket cause of a shitty tune but luckly only the head gasket went. GL man

so on a small shot I should still be pulling timing ? i am wondering what shot i should run, mods are ford 9', NASTY RAILS, sard fpr, inline 255 fuel pump, tunning with the diablo preditor, cleaned out my cats, stock headers, and a msd window switch, nitrous kit came with fpss, so as long as i can stay in rpm what shot would i be safe to run, i already know there is always a chance with somthing goin wrong, but i am rebuilding in the winter? maybe a 75 shot.
