Default I just bought a rare bird

I read on another site about production numbers.. I just bought a 1998 Formula WS6. not a T/A. My first Fbody, I feel so lucky. The site said that they made only 221 of them.
I really want to keep this in the original condition, well except for a few power mods. This site is great, You all have helped me out on what to look for. Thanks

Congrats on the rare bird. Formulas are rare. WS6 ones are even rarer. Post some pics when you can. Your are going to have fun with your car. People are going to think you are a V-6

One of the site administrators, Nine Ball, just picked up a '98 Formula WS6 with just over 9,700 miles on the odometer: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....&postcount=237

Congrats on the 'bird purchase, and welcome to LS1tech!

Well, Through this site, and the search engine, I was able to find out about so many things. Such as RPO codes and what they mean. Free mods, many other things. I found this car on autotrader, checked out the vin, then checked the RPO codes, I couldn't believe it. I am so happy. The only down side I hade to use my 97 f150, 4x4 ,5.4 V8, dealer installed SVO supercharger, for a trade in. I just need to fix the AC, good thing for t-tops. And the monsoon radio is there but doesn't work, previous owner had a Ghetto system in it. It is an amazing vehicle. Thanks for sites like this....

Nice Formy, I have a '94 Formula 6spd. On the LS1 cars I like the Trans Am front bumper cover best, but I would buy a WS6 Formula anyday!

Congrats on the find! WS6 Formulas are super rare, and arguably the best looking 4th gen f-body built. At least I think so

How many miles on it? 6-speed or auto? Cloth or leather?

BTW, the red "RAM AIR" decals aren't stock. They should be black on a silver car. You can pick up a set of those on ebay.

Yeah, I want to take it back to the orignal condition as best I can. It has more miles than I want. but what can you do. it has 85,000. 6 speed, cloth interior, monsoon radio. It seemed by the RPO code I had pretty much everything but leather. I am still checking though.

85k is not that bad I wish I found a cloth interior cus it's boiling hear in summer, I have my own shaded park home and work and still the leather will be hard to sit on.
Oh sorry congrats on the rare find.
