Will 02 V8 exhaust fit on 02 V6?

Will 02 V8 exhaust fit on 02 V6? I am not familiar with a V6 exhaust setup so I need to know if an exhaust off an 02 SS from the y-pipe back will fit on a 02 V6 Firebird? Does the Y-pipe come out it the same location? Where is the cat on a V6 exhaust? I know this is LS1 tech not 3800 tech, but I hope someone can help me out.
