Default AFR readings on gauge different from EFILive logs....

I have noticed recently that my DynoTune WB AFR gauge is reading two or three tenths higher than EFILive. Any ideas on why? It just happened recently, used to be pretty much spot on. My grounds for the EFILive connection and the gauge are run to the same place.

I would try to recalibrate the sensor. It could also be that your sensor is going bad and needs repalced.

I'll try it, I hope the sensor isn't going bad I've only had it installed for about 2 months. I thought about the calibration thing too, but it's like the analog outputs are each reading differently. Weird.

Oh, forgot to post that it's an Innovate LC-1

Its a ground offset difference. I'd log the WB with their software and use HPT and average the numbers and create a new pid.

Hmmmm, shouldnt be an offset ground if they are grounded to the same point. The gauge likely just reads the analog signal slightly different than EFI live.(analog calibration) I do agree that you could just dial in EFIlive to agree with the gauge if you dont want to live with the readings being slightly offset.

I guess I need to use Innovate's software to figure out which one is accurate.

You are on the correct path. There is no reason to use HPT for anything. Just use your supplied software and go from there.

Compare the value you get in EFILive to Logworks and then come up with your own calibrated pid so that EFILive matches Logoworks. If you have any problems Black02SS can help you out. He helped me calibrate my LC1 and it is within a couple hundredths of Logworks. Black02SS is the man when it comes to Innovate widebands and EFILive.

Finally got around to hooking up LogWorks, and it matched my gauge almost exactly. Confirmed that the calculated EFI PID was reading about .2 richer than the actual AFR. I went in to the sae_generic.txt file and changed the default calculation for the LC1, it now reads "({EXT.AD1}*3)+7.55" instead of "({EXT.AD1}*3)+7.35", and it seems to match up almost perfectly. Thanks for the help guys.
