Default Crazy loud squeeeeeeeking

ok... when I turn on my AC... somewhere under the hood it just constantly squeeks to high heaven... it isnt the belt cause I just changed that... help

need more info to be able to help you out dude.. listen closely to the area where it would be at and try to pinpoint where its coming from. also, check and see if you belt is straight. if a pulley is out of alignment, it could cause a horrible squealing noise.

Word, it would be the a/c tensioner or idler pulley.

Try spraying brake cleaner on the belt while it's running........... the pulley grooves might be glazed up from your old belt and this will help clean it all out.

Def sounds like a belt squeeking... but I just replaced the damn belts..... but I will try the brake cleaner... with it runnin... it isnt gonna shoot up in my face is it?

Do it with it running and try to spray it on the crank pulley grooves and directly on the idler pulley.................... don't worry, it doesn't taste that bad..........lol.....

Oh, and don't use carb cleaner.................. it will start to melt the belts.......... brake cleaner doesn't.

99 times out of a 100 if it squeels it is the belt ,recheck length,if it still does you mite have a bearing starting to sieze in something, remove belt and spin all pullys and ck them
