Default Stock springs boosted ET

I just recently took off my Eibach pro-kit and went back to stock springs. My 1/8 mile time with the Pro-Kit on was 8.6. Now with the stocks I run a consistant 8.4. Any reason for this?

Simple, weight distribution. The pro-kit is known as one of the lowest out there, and it will kill your weight distribution on the launch. Stock fixes that. Though I wouldn't expect to lose 2 tenths from it, it's possible i guess.

That's what I was thinking as well. Two tenths is massive in 1/8 mile racing. Maybe my driving has improved. Either way, I think I'll stick with stock springs from now on.

I just reinstalled my stock rear springs with 1 1/2 coils cut and it seemed to help weight tranfer a ton. I have the LT1 pro-kit.
Another local,NOSWS6(going for the stock shortblock record) also did this and picked up a ton in the 60 over the prokit
