Default Mounting engine to BMR k-member

How are you guys mounting your motors to the BMR k-member?

This will be using mounts and not plates.. i am just kinda confused on what to do. I wanted to do solid mounts on my stock k-member, but my kooks won't clear the stock one ( 2 inch)

It should mount the same as stock using either their mounts on the k member or a seperate set of mounts.

Do you have the bmr k member without motor mounts? If you're using solid mounts you need to order the one without mounts.

Thunder racing has the poly mounts. They can be a real PITA to put in, but work good.

Summit has the best prices. Those prices are crazy from Thunder for those poly mounts. Your going to have to grind off the rivets and drill out the holes. Mine were like $50.00 plus shipping.

BMR makes 2 differant k members. One with motor mount provisions and one without. We need to know which you have and we can go from there.

Poly mounts are about your only option then.

I bought my ply mounts from Billingsley. All you have to do is drill out the rivets, get the old rubber mount out, then install the new poly one using bolts. They seem to work great (motor will not move at idle or stalling the car up) - no track experience quite yet but we'll be testing them soon.
