And Thus it Starts.. Lid And so it begins, get the car in February, convincing myself that stock would be just fine and more than enough power... riiiiiiiigght. Hangin' out here, of course, that wasn't meant to last.
So last week i met StangSlayerSS out and about in Rockford, and we get to talkin. Last night, by cell phone light, we installed an extra lid he had lyin around.
Sure its only the beginning of what i now see as much more to come, but its a start.

it's easy to see why - it's absolutely enthralling trying to get the most out of what you own. unfortunately for me, my hobbies have always tended to be the expensive ones: home theatre, computers, guitar, and now car. So it was studying specs and trying out layouts for best audio immersion and quality, upgrade slightly and overclock smartly, now i'm really stoked about working on the car - its new territory, a lot to learn, and the gains are definitely noticeable

ya, when i got my car i just wanted to do light boltons (lid, cat-back) and keep the car mostly stock.
now im looking into getting a good rear with a 4.10, and one day a nice stout cam with a set of heads, and my exhaust isnt just the cat back i planned to do

do u wanna know how far it will go?...i blew my old engine just to get a newer better one...im sorry ok, im sorry....its only 7k, its just money right? just a car?...but i got a 01 motor instead of a 99....so the ? is now...where do i go from here....again
