Default O2 sensor/missfire question

I Jacked the car up to change spark plugs and plug wires due to a cylinder missfire code being thrown. I discovered that my Passenger side O2 extension was melted because it was in contact with one of the header primaries. The individual wires were melted to each other. Could this be the reason I am throwing a cylinder missfire code? or should i replace the spark plugs and wires regardless? I am throwing a bank 2 sensor 1 code as well.

My question is, could the wires that are melted together be causing the missfire.

notes: I am using NGK irridium spark plugs with 8mm omnispark plug wires

my car just melted the driver side together and Im not throwing misfire codes. It did however pop my 20 amp engine fuse. You might want to check that too.
