should i use the 7.4's that came with the cam or the 7.25s that came with teh cranes?

I would use the 7.4's or a 7.425.

you sure? i mean, they wouldnt provide the shorter pushrods w/o a reason. maybe its a preload thing...
(not trying to second guess you, just trying to make sure you knw why theres a 1/4 inch differnece between the 2) sometimes people dont read a whole title or thread ad miss the point.

Well what is the ratio? If they are 1.7 then use the ones that came with the cam. The longer one would be for a quieter valvetrain. That was where I was getting that extra .025 from.

The Cranes have a different arc geometry. You need to use the ones supplied with the rockers.

Use the Crane pushrods, 7.4's are way too long.
