Stereo & Electronics - Electric antenna won't retract

Anyone know how to correct, the antenna raises fine but has to be pushed back down, oem Camaro stuff and not used very much. Thanks.

Can you hear the motor trying? Clean and not bent? My Camaro monsoon didn't come with one; thought you have to go aftermarket or install a Firebird unit to get one.

Look on ebay for a nice used one $70-100. There isn't much you can do to fix them.

Try thoroughly cleaning the mast first. Often the mast will get a build-up of grime that prevents it from lowering properly. There is a Camaro-specific power antenna available from GM - I don't have the part number with me but it's been discussed before so a search should find it.
