Default Whats an acceptable TC clearance...

between the flexplate and torque converter pads when installing your trans? I have read a couple different instructions and one says it needs to be 1/16-1/8" and then another one says it should be 1/8-3/16" clearance. I have 3/16" and I'm thinking about shimming it 1/16". Is this acceptable or is the 3/16" fine?

Thanks,
Dan

Cool, thanks for the link. I should of checked Rossler as I have their TH400 I'm putting in along with the Neal Chance TC. looks like I'm good with the 3/16" gap then. Thanks again!
