overheating problems

overheating problems is it possible that a cam can make a car run hot?I have a forged 346 ls1 with heads,cam and procharger.With the procharger,headers and stock engine the car never overheated.When it first started overheating i put on a electric water pump and it didn't help.The fans are working and i have a new 160 thermostat.
