Lookin to get out of my T/A and into a C5 vette. Under 26k and has to be manual transmission. Stock or damn near - no engine/exhaust mods(except maybe LG headers). Just tryin to see whats out there. Thanks!

I'm in the same boat. Looking to get out of the Fbod and into a cheaper C5 in DFW.

Thanks Gray!

I've found some on CF, and am also keeping my eye on Levi's Z06 but he's in Kentucky. Its just tough finding a Z06 or even an EB coupe under 26k.

for under 26k your choice/quality of cars will probably suffer, Zo6 is almost out of the question at that level. Good luck though.

LOL.

Yea, it will suffer a little, but I can't live beyond my means. Unless I want to start teaching Cisco or A+ courses two nights a week, and that would suck.

I regularly check www.corvetteforum.com looking at a highly modded 99 C5 w/82k for $18k which is good for me.

The one in DFW with the G5X3? If so, I saw that one, but if I get what I want for my T/A, I'll be able to swing a little more, so I'd rather pick up a stock 'vette.

Yes, the white C5 coupe. Should make some damn good numbers. I'm the user "Tuk" over there. I was looking for something pre-modded as I wont have the funds to craft a car with my own mods. Somebody told me though that the 918's arent enough for that cam and would need to do 921's?

Tuk, I've seen the username. I go by the same name there as I do here.

Here's a pretty sweet deal, especially if you can negociate a little more off of the asking price.

2000, MN6, under 50k miles, 300 mi of DFW

Crap load for sale on cars.com around 26k.... I would own another c5 if it wasn't for 2 seats (my son)... If you don't find a c5, I see a few cobra's around that price.

Yea, yellow is not really a color I am looking at right now. Black, Electron Blue, Speedway White, Torch Red, Silver, all colors I would not have an issue with.
