You have to run a 7-7.5 back spacing and modify the inner fenderwell where the bump stop is and in the front inner corner.A local chassis guy showed me how to do mine so I could run a 28x12.5r15 et street.

I have 15x10 (7.5BS) Weld Pro Stars on back right now with 26x11.5's. I want to add some gear to it but I can't without adding some tire. I was told that you had to cut the bumper cover but it doesn't look like it to me.

that tire is dimesionally similar to a 275/60/15. Only difference is overall height is 27.3" for some reason to the regular radial height of 28" .
Section width is the same as a 275/40 17 and are approx 1.6" taller overall.
I dont see them hitting the rear cover and you'd have about 1" left back there.
Edit- what size 28" ET street were you looking at? My references are for a 28x11.5/15 Et Street
