Default airbox hood seal

All:

Can someone describe in detail (if possible pictures) which is best homemade way to seal your hood to your airbox for close to true ram air effect.

What I will be doing with mine is getting some weatherproofing (the rubber kind) and putting it on the part where the holes are from the hood to matchthe intake of the airbox. You only need it to be .5 - .75 inches thick to properly seal to the airbox.

I'll try this out this weekend and let you know what happens.

I should have asked what car you had... camaro or firebird?

For the firebirds, go with the Brian Green Ram Air Kit, but if it's a camaro, I'll let you know what happens.

I tried foam, but it wasn't very good. It warped from the engine heat and was very messy.
