i would never put on the strip to block off the airbox...why would does that make the airflow threw the airbox more turbulent?
air from the bottom and the front seems better to me unless someone has concluded that is not the case.

If you have a WS6 then return your Whisper RamAir kit and buy a Bryan Greene Ram Air Kit. Some of the sponsors carry it.

It will direct the air from your WS6 hood nostrils directly to the airfilter. That is the highest flowing area on the WS6s.

How 2 block off WS6 airbox for Ram air induction
I have a 2001 WS6. I bought a Whisper Motorsports Ram air induction kit. IT is supposed to pull the high pressure air fom in front of the radiator. I have been told that this works best when blocking off your factory WS6 airbox but the rubber seal that they gave me is only like an inch tall and the opening on my airbox is like 3 to 4 inches. Does anyone know how i can block this off?

I run a Whisper Ram Air and WS6 hood with lower air box. I also have both baffles out of the hood. I have nothing sealed up.
My car runs alright
