Default Canton Oil pan leak?

Got a small little issue with my Canton LT1 oil pan. It leaks oil out of the little plug just above the oil drain plug. I tighten it and still leaks, so I put some tephlon thread sealant on it and it seemed to have slowed the leak but the leak is still there. Any suggestion?

Had the same problem with a Canton pan. I fought it forever. I bought a Fumoto drain valve and use a ton of teflon tape, problem solved. I shouldn't ever have to remove it ever again.

The Canton oil pans that I have seen must have been made on Mondays.

I just coated that plug with PTFE paste sealant and solved the leak. Oh yeah, tighten the **** outta it too.
Other than that, not a single leak
