Default Lookin' at my first LT1 Camaro...

I've been a member of the LS1 community for awhile now and have fallen in love with the motors and the vehicles they power (see sig and post count), but recently I've become rather interested in the LT1 powered vehicles. Here's the deal:

I'm currently looking at buying a 1994 Camaro Z28 A4. The car has been lowered 2" and some mild suspension work has been done (tubular rear arms), it also has a custom 3" cat-back and t-tops. The kicker here though is that is has ~200,000 (very well cared for) miles on it (mostly highway travelling between Missouri and Texas). As far as I can tell it burns no oil and has no leaks, the rad-fans don't work but I'm told it's the temp-sensor NOT the fans. and in driving it I was getting 22mpg with easy city driving

Here's my questions:

What should I look for as "problem areas" on these cars other than the Opti-Spark and the intake manifold leak issues ??

What kind of performance is to be expected from a completely stock high-mileage LT1 ??

What kind of mileage can be expected out of an LT1 ??...and if modded how much does that decrease ?? (remember, I'm spoiled by the LS1's longevity and durability)

Thanks in advance;
Al

have any pictures. See if the water pump, opti were changed yet.

Stock LT1's are around 270 stock. Most LT1's make it too 160,000+ with no problems if taken care off.
