Any differences between 01 LS6 intake manifold and '02-03 Intake manifold?

Any differences between 01 LS6 intake manifold and '02-03 Intake manifold? I read somewhere, on another forum that the '01 LS6 intake manifold was known to cause some noise of some sort, and that GM straightened things out for the '02 model year.... is this true?
I am looking to buy a used LS6 intake manifold, and was wondering if there were any issues

There was some sort of "whistle" on the vettes at some rpm level with there air intakes. A very slight change to the LS6 manifold to correct this "whistle" problem. I thing some f-body guys had "whistle" too.

Re: Any differences between 01 LS6 intake manifold and '02-03 Intake manifold? My H/C package makes a subtle "ticking" sound (like a sewing machine) which is normal.
My question is, If I were to get one of these "early model" LS6 intakes, do u think I would even hear this whistle sound through the valve train of the H/C package?
