I like my Bridgestone Potenzas re750's, they hook up pretty good and have good tread life.

So by "street tires'', I'm guessing that you're ruling out drag radials. If not, then go with some Nittos for street driving.

If you're ruling out drag radials, then I'd reccomend BFG KD's, or KDW's for wet traction too. Or Goodyear Eagle GS-D3s, but both are pricey.

My regular 555's dont have a prayer at gripping on the street, never have, and I still have about 90% tread left.

I have these on all 4 corners for $900 mounted, out the door... One of the best street tires I've ever had. They are wearing quite even and had them on for a year, still plenty of tread... you may save $200 going cheaper on all 4 corners... Good Luck

ive been running 555 extremes for four years and KDW's before that and goodyear f1's originally and i really like the nittos.
id probably buy them again without hesitation, they wear good, look good, and i think hook up real well and their real predictable.

I have the 555 extremes and they seem to hook pretty well, or at least alot better than the previous tires (Kuhmos came on the car). I also installed an adjustable BMR torque arm and adjustable panhard bar right after I put the 555s and that seemed to make the biggest difference. The car already had BMR LCA's.

That's why I'm going to some DR from GS-D3s. On a stock car they're great... on a 400hp+ car they don't really hook that well.
