Default 02 C5: Dot3 or Dot4 clutch fluid?

I've seen posts supporting both Dot3 and Dot4. Why not just do Dot4 if it cna handle more heat?

Is the clutch fluid supposed to be close to the top of the receptacle, like say 1cm from the top? Mine was pretty low.

Use DOT4.

Get some Super Blue DOT4 Raciing fluid. I ran that in my Z28 with the Cartek clutch and never had a single issue.

You're supposed to fill to just below the step in the reservoir, it's in the owner's manual.

I was not clear on what the step is. I don't have a manual.

The step is where the reservoir necks down, that's the step.

I just filled with Motul 5.1 with my new Cartek Clutch. Not much more expensive and it is better imo than 3 or 4. I may have some left. If you are interested shoot me a pm. I paid about $6 plus shipping per 1/2 liter.
