Car won't start, need some help.
I just got the car back last Saturday, from the engine swap. On startup the car is extremely rich, black marks on the concrete rich. You have to keep your foot on the pedal till the car warms up (180 deg) or it will die.
Yesterday I pulled the car into the driveway to swap out throttle bodies and when I was finished the car wouldn’t start back up. It turns over, but that’s it.
I’m thinking that the rich startups might have already fouled up my brand new spark plugs.
What do you think is causing the car to startup so richly and what needs to be done to correct it?
Do you guys think that fouled plugs might be the reason the car won’t start or something else? <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

Is the blower on the car? This may be a tuning issue. Probably the plugs are seriously fouled though if it was running that rich. It doesn't take long when you're dumping in way too much fuel.
Maybe try asking this in the FI section?

Did you change the plugs yet to see if it would at least start?

The plugs were black as hell. Installed the new ones and she fired right up. Still extremely rich. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />
I put out a help request on LS1-Edit, so maybe someone will be kind enough to help me out. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" />
