Default Can someone TOTALLY explain GM top engine cleaner

I have read over the numerous post on the various methods of using GM top engine cleaner. I plan on connecting 3/8" tubing to the section on the intake behind tb (vacum pcv) to the can of cleaner. From the post I read, some advise dissconnecting MAF sensor. I have already bought the liquid version and do not plan on doing the spark plug removal method. I plan on chnging my spark plugs next oil change. I am going to change the oil after using the gm cleaner. If anyone has any tips I would appreciate it.
