If you're trying to decide, I'd say no to black on an SOM car. It's just too dark and detracts from the overall clean and amazing look of a wonderful color.

If you want anything other than chrome or polished, I'd say go for a gunmetal/charcoal metallic color in the center of some Torque Thrust II's.
