Default Is a dual-disk clutch ok for a 400 rwhp car?

I need a new clutch and am considering a dual-disk for durability. I am a novice drag-racer and have experienced both excessive wheelspin and bogging. Therefore, I will be experimenting with launch techniques that include all forms of clutch abuse from high-heat slipping, to high-rpm dumps. My theory is that a dual-disk clutch will withstand my mistakes and thrashings better than a single-disk. I don't intend to do any powershifting so the additional disk mass is not a concern. Other than expense, is there a good reason why I should not try a dual-disk clutch?
