Default KOOKS headers?

Isn't there someone here from Kooks? a Nick or someone?

Is there any sponsors selling these?

I am interested in getting a set of the Kooks 2" stepped tube headers.

I don't want them if they have a slip on collector (if they do I will just go dynatech)
are the collectors welded on?

do they have o2 bungs?

price?

wait? <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

I'd buy the Dynatech's if I was looking for stepped headers. The Kook's Headers are sold with slip-on collectors only. The price I got from them was $714.90 for a set, WITHOUT coating!

They should be available on the right from Total Engine Airflow.

I think some of you guys are getting yourselves confused. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

The Dynatech headers use a totally separate collector, which literally slips on over all four header tubes and is held in place with two nuts/bolts and u-tabs that are welded to the header and collector.

AFAIK, the Kooks collectors are welded on to the header tubes when you buy them. The "slip-on" portion is where you would actually bolt the rest of the exhaust to the header.

Make sense?

If you guys are looking for a great headers, stepped or no step, Kooks is definately the way to go. Nick over there is great to deal with and super knowledgeable of his product. We have sold many of their products in the past to lots of our racers. If you guys want to give me a call on some pricing I believe we can set you up with a good price on a great header.

How about before and after dyno sheets so that we can see the results for ourselves. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
