Default Need input trouble codes P0336 and P0300

I was running my car WOt and around 5K to 5.5K the engine misfires and it stalls and shuts down. I checked the trouble codes and it was P0336= Crankshaft positin sensor circuit, range or performance and P0300 Misfire code. And i was wondering should I try to figure out whats wrong with the Crank code first or Misfire code. I am thinking if the Crank sensor's circuit is bad then it will throw off timing show the missfire code. Am I right? or should I worry about the misfire code?

Fix the crank code first, that's what the pcm uses to time the spark correctly, chances are if you fix that, you'll get rid of the p0300 code
