This response is to the post on the dead board. The lid and bellows should easily last the life of the car if you install it properly. In response to your earlier post:
You better check it out a little closer! It should not fit any different than the original. The lid should be secured by the tabs in the back and the front clips should snug the front down when they are latched.
The best way to install it is to assemble the lid/MAF/bellows first, making sure all of the clamps are tight, and then slide that assembly onto the throttle body and under the rear lid clips at the same time. Then tighten the clamp on the bellows/throttle body.
